The pre-look of Kural 388 which marks the debut of Telugu actor Vishnu Machu in Tamil cinema was unveiled on Saturday on the eve of Vijayadasami.
The Tamil-Telugu bilingual (called Voter in Telugu), is directed by GS Karthik, and its shooting was wrapped up recently. The film is said to be based on the 388th kural from Thirukkural which talks about how a king will be considered a god when he protects his subjects.
With Surbhi playing the female lead, the film also stars Nasser, Sampath and Thalaivasal Vijay. Popular journalist Ravishankar has penned the Tamil dialogues for this film which has its music composed by Thaman. The first look of the film has been planned for release shortly.
