Packed with 2-week battery life, is Huawei Watch GT 2 worth the price?

With so many smartwatches available in India, we are spoilt for choice; and even though there’s no dearth of options there are very few smartwatches that are truly worth the money.

So let’s see if the recently-released Huawei Watch GT 2 fits the bill.

One of the major highlights of the Huawei Watch GT 2 is its battery. According to the company, the smartwatch can last up to two weeks on a single charge.

Like many other smartwatches, it can be paired with a phone via Bluetooth. Huawei claims it offers Bluetooth connectivity up to 150 metres.

It is powered by Huawei’s first self-developed wearable chip, which ensures high operation performance and low power consumption.

GT 2 features a minimalist aesthetic design. It has a 3D curved glass with a bezel-less watch face. Also, there are a variety of watch faces available for users to select and customise. Its 1.39-inch AMOLED display is bright and the touch experience is also good.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 is compatible with 15 sports including eight outdoor sports and seven indoor sports. Talking about heart rate monitoring, it notifies the user if the heart rate is above 100 beats per minute or below 50 beats per minute.

It also has a sleep monitoring function.

The watch comes in three variants at different price points, the 46 mm sport model in black costs Rs 15,990; the 46 mm leather edition is priced at Rs 17, 990; and the 46mm metal variant comes with a price tag of Rs 21,990.

So which one would you pick?
