Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale jaggery market in the national capital today with prices after moving in a tight range on little doing,settled at their previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a similar trend as prices ruled flat.
Marketmen said adequate stocks against scattered demand kept gur prices on last levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,700-2,750, chakku Rs 3,050-3,150, khurpa Rs 2,950-3,000 and Ladoo Rs 3,100-3,150.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,925-3,000 and dhayya Rs 3,000-3,050.
