Mixed trend prevailes in the market

Prices of urad dal, sugar increased and moong dal, gram dal decreased while prices of rest of commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

Urad dal went up by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.9,200 its previous rate of Rs.9,000.

Gram dal was decreased by Rs.500 per quintal to Rs.

8,500 from Rs.9000 resepctively.

Moong dal fell down by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.6,500 from Rs.6,700.

Sugar was marginally up by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.4,200 from Rs. 4,100.

Thoor dal,wheat,maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,500, Urad Dal Rs 9,200, Moong Dal Rs 6,500, Gram Dal Rs 8,500, Sugar Rs 4,200, Wheat Rs 3,000, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
