In the special Diwali Muhurat trading in Mumbai today, Gold added to its sparkle as the price jumped 76 rupees per 10 grams.
Traders said the gold price was supported among others by increased buying activity driven by the ongoing festive seasonal demand on the auspicious occasion of ‘Diwali’ and the beginning of Hindu Samvat year 2074.
In line with gold, silver rebounded on increased off-take by coin makers and other consuming industries.
